This guitar belonged to the legendary Spanish guitarist Andrés Segovia. Hermann Hauser I built this 1939 instrument for him, and ten years later Segovia gave it to Doña Paz Armesto de Quiroga, perhaps as a sign of gratitude for the help received during the early years of his career
This guitar was built in 1936 by Julian Gomez Ramirez in his Parisian workshop in the Rue Rodier and is an excellent example of his finest guitar. Numbered 724 and hand-signed by the famous luthier, it has the characteristics of careful and meticulous work for this special order of “Le Petit Pierrot”.
